The Best Difficulty to Play Shadow Warrior in 2013

When diving back into Shadow Warrior, I opted to skip the sword and instead wielded my shotgun with cold gems, HP leech, and damage against superior and elite opponents. The game's optimization is impressive, and players are treated to a plethora of graphics options, making it a well-crafted experience overall.

As I continue to play through the game, I may update this review with additional thoughts and insights. However, so far, I have thoroughly enjoyed Shadow Warrior 2, despite it being a lackluster year for games in general. The title is an absolute must-buy, and its cooperative multiplayer capabilities make it a blast to play with friends.

I've only completed a few missions thus far, but the balance seems spot-on, even when playing solo. With a wide range of weapons at your disposal, including katanas, pistols, shotguns, submachineguns, assault rifles, and melee weapons, you can really upgrade and customize your experience to suit your playstyle.

Unlocking perks with skill points is also a rewarding aspect of the game, as it allows you to further tailor your character to fit your preferred method of play. Each weapon has three upgrade slots that can be filled using upgrade stones, while armor and power slots can also be upgraded for added protection and abilities.

Initially, I had concerns about Shadow Warrior 2 being too similar to Borderlands, but after spending some time with the game, I've come to appreciate its unique charm. While it shares some similarities with the Borderlands series, I believe it's a more refined and enjoyable experience overall.
