Svat Camera Install: Enhancing Your SWAT Experience

The latest update for the popular SWAT modding community, Svat Camera Install, has brought a slew of exciting new features to enhance your gameplay experience. In this article, we'll dive into what's new and how it will affect your playstyle.

One of the most noticeable changes is the dynamic shell textures on Breaching SG and Benelli M4, which now depend on the type of shell used. This adds a level of realism to your game that was previously lacking. Additionally, new headgear options have been added, including the boonie hat and ballistic glasses, giving you more flexibility in terms of customization.

The body armor selection has also received an overhaul, with Level II armor and Kevlar now available, along with the vanilla options. The new officers' textures, courtesy of AceVentura, are a welcome addition to the game.

But what about the suspects? They've received a significant boost in AI morale, making them 15% more aggressive at the start of each mission. And if they're not willing to surrender, they can now 'fake' dropping their weapons and attack you with a chance based on their skill level.

In close quarters combat, suspects and officers alike can now punch their enemies at very close range, adding a new layer of realism to the game. You'll need to be careful when getting up close and personal with your opponents.

The weapon zoom feature has been restored, although it's disabled by default. This means you'll need to enable it in the game settings if you want to use it. Additionally, fleeing suspects are now considered a threat if they're running with a gun within 15 meters of a player.

For those playing single-player or multiplayer, the new disable penalty messages option is available. This feature can also be used by AI-controlled characters when securing evidence. You'll need to adjust your game settings or use the Advanced server settings to enable this feature.

The TAC-AID Maglite Torch is a new addition to the mod, allowing you to bind new keys or hold down the command key (default CTRL) and low ready up/down (default mouse wheel up/down). When using the torch, evidence will glow, making it easier for you to search for them quickly.

The partial open door system has also been implemented, allowing doors to swing partially when opened. This gives you more opportunities to shoot or throw grenades without having to fully open the door.

The lean/walk system has received a significant overhaul, with new and old systems working together seamlessly. You can now hold down the command key (default CTRL) + lean left/right to achieve the same effect as before, or use the new lean keys (default Q/E).

Finally, Svat Camera Install is available for download in the SEF_FR/Extra folder, along with an executable file to launch the mod. Make sure to join the 'SEF: First Responders' Discord server for feedback, bug reports, and coop game making.
